We are customarily engaged by sellers to represent them in the sale of their company. This type of engagement encompasses many aspects of a successful sale, including:
• Initial face to face consultation
• Information gathering, financial analysis, comprehensive
recasting
• Research and valuation
• Confidential business review composition
• Presentation to Private Equity Groups, high net worth
individuals, strategic acquirers, synergistic buyers
(all in person)
• Soliciting multiple bids
• Organizing offers/LOIs and presenting to seller
• Negotiating on behalf of the seller
• Coordination of due diligence and funding
Our three most critical tasks when representing a seller, however, are to maximize the purchase price, create favorable terms/upside above and beyond the purchase price, and get the business to and through a successful closing.
Our team consists of intermediaries who, just like the sellers we represent, have owned and sold middle market companies ranging in various industries across the spectrum. We know how to find the buyer who is ready, willing and financially able to consummate a transaction, and we facilitate this process in timely and highly professional manner.
Because of our proven MODEL FOR SUCCESS and our internal infrastructure, we DO NOT CHARGE, COLLECT OR ASSESS ANY RETAINER FEES, BUSINESS VALUATION FEES, RESEARCH FEES, AND IN MOST CASES, TRAVEL FEES. We view each engagement as a partnership, wherein we participate hand-in-hand with the seller. We will not accept an engagement that we are not confident in a highly successful conclusion.
